DEVELOPMENTAL HISTORY:

Frequency Hopping is the winner of the 2007 STAGE International Script Competition and was developed, in part, through the University of California, Santa Barbara, STAGE Project by the Professional Artist Lab (Nancy Kawalek, Director) and the California NanoSystems Institute.  It  was originally commissioned and developed with the support of the Ensemble Studio Theatre/Sloan Project.  Further development was made possible by a grant from the Drama League Director’s Project’s New Directors/New Works Program, and by a 2002 residency at Yaddo. It has been additionally developed through readings at the Women's Project, New York Theatre Workshop, Ensemble Studio Theatre and New Georges.  On December 6, 2001, Frequency Hopping was read by Isabel Keating and Tony Torn  at Location One as part of the In Hot Pursuit Series.
